Gender, sexuality, and queer identity are central themes in Joris's designs. By drawing from modern pop culture and challenging familiar stereotypes, Joris aims to disrupt societal norms in a playful and provocative way. Take, for instance, his naughty office skirt, where Joris explores the gendering of formal wear. This design transforms the traditional seriousness of office attire into a fun and sexy statement, highlighting the arbitrary nature of our clothing assumptions. Through their work, Joris seeks to liberate us from a world constrained by labels and definitions, envisioning a queer, free, and playful reality where anything is possible.
